Ingredients

3/4 CUP PLUS 2 TBLSP. WARM WATER

1 TBLSP. OIL

2 1/4 TSP. DRY YEAST

1/4 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR

1 TSP. CINNAMON

2 1/4 CUPS FLOUR

1 TSP. SALT

1/2 CUP RAISINS OR CURRANTS

1/2 LB FRESH CHERRIES (RINSED, PITTED AND HALVED) THIS IS ABOUT 2 CUPS. 

Preparation
  1. USE THE USUAL BREAD METHODS.
  2. KNEAD AND ALLOW FIRST RISE IN A LIGHTLY OILED BOWL.
  3. FORM ON A PIZZA PAN AND ALLOW TO RISE SECOND TIME.
  4. GENTLY DIMPLE THE DOUGH WITH YOUR FINGERTIPS AND SPREAD THE FRESH CHERRIES OVER TOP.
  5. SPRINKLE WITH 1 TBLSP WHITE SUGAR.
  6. BAKE AT 400° UNTIL TOP IS SOFT AND BROWNED, 20-25 MINUTES.
