Recipe Description

Make sure your limes are well washed. Cut limes into fourths and put them in a blenders jar together with the peanuts, the sugar and  water; blend at high speed for around 45 seconds until all ingredients are finely crushed. Strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer and into a glass jar, pressing down on the solids to obtain as much liquid out as possible. Incorporate the remaining water and stir well. Divide ice cubes into 4 large tumblers, garnish each with a lime wheel, pour in 2 tablespoons of rum into each if using and fill glasses with the peanut lemonade stir and enjoy. Salud!!

Ingredients

4 whole limes
½ cup roasted unsalted peanuts
½ cup of super fine sugar
4 cups water
1 tray of large ice cubes (around 12 solid cubes)
½ cup white rum (optional)

Preparation

1. Wash and quarter 3 limes, and put them in a blender with the peanuts, sugar and 2 cups cold water. Blend at high speed for about 45 seconds, until all ingredients are finely crushed.

2. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass jar or pitcher, pressing down on the solids to obtain as much liquid as possible.
