Serves/Makes/Yields
One Liter
Ingredients
1 liter jar (store bought) of whole dill pickles
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
Preparation
Drain and discard the juice from the jar of store bought whole dill pickles.
Cut each pickle into 4 pieces lengthwise and place back into the jar.
In a sauce pan, boil together the sugar, white vinegar and water. Pour this over the dill pickles.
Let jar cool then cover with top and refrigerate.
You may want to experiment with the amount of sugar.
