Recipe Description
You’re in for a treat with this recipe because roasting cauliflower makes it so tender that it melts in your mouth. This simple method turns the firm, white florets into delicate, golden brown, slightly sweet morsels, a delightful and delectable change of pace.
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower (2 to 2 1/2 pound) cored and cut into florets (4-6 cups)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation
- Heat oven to 400° F.
- Place cauliflower, oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; toss to combine.
- Arrange in a single layer on a heavy-bottomed baking sheet or in a large baking dish.
- Roast until softened and golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
